Later this month, high school football teams from Tennessee and northwest Georgia will return to Finley Stadium with a new format for fans to experience. The preseason football showcase, taking place from August 13th to 15th, will include 12 teams getting ready for the upcoming season. For the first time in 27 years, the event will feature full scrimmages rather than the traditional jamboree style with 30-minute quarters.
This year’s games will see Marion County playing Cleveland, Dade County up against Chattanooga Prep, and appearances by Notre Dame, Boyd Buchanan, Ringgold, Heritage, Murray County, and North Murray.
