The Grundy County School Board will meet again this week after recently voting 6-3 to extend the director of schools a 4-year extension.
Dr. Donald Durley’s new contract will extend his deal through 2030. On Thursday, the board will decide if they will give Dr Durley a $20,000 per year raise.
Grundy County citizens have reached out to SValleyNow.com concerned about the raise for Dr Durley. They tell us the director’s base pay already stands at $139,000 per year.
