After four years of renovations, the historic Tivoli Theatre, known as the “Jewel of the South,” officially reopened Tuesday evening during a ceremony in downtown Chattanooga.
The theatre closed in 2022 for an extensive renovation and expansion project costing approximately $75 million.
The reopening begins a new chapter for the Tivoli Theatre, restoring live performances to one of Chattanooga’s most prominent landmarks and introducing the venue to a new generation of audiences.
