Trail of Tears Program is Saturday
Make plans to join a special event Saturday, November 7, from 1–5 PM at Coops Creek Commons in Dunlap for the Trail of Tears Commemoration.
Come watch the dancers, hear the drummers, and learn from scholars as the group honor Cherokee history and resilience.
Everyone will gather for a candlelight walk to the courthouse at 4:45 PM, where a wreath will be laid in remembrance.
