Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department THC Sales to Students

Last week, the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the Sunoco gas station in Pikeville. This action comes after the Sheriff’s Office received multiple complaints regarding illegal tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products obtained by local students.

The Tennessee Dangerous Drugs Task Force assisted on scene with testing of multiple THC products inside the store.

The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that protecting students and the community is their top priority.

Sheriff Jimmy Morris said in a statement, “The availability of these products to students will not be tolerated in Bledsoe County. “We are committed to ensuring that illegal THC products are inaccessible within our county, and we will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to stop their distribution.

The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Office encourages parents, schools, and community members to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity related to the sale of illegal substances.
