Motorcycle Driver Leaves the Scene of Firey Crash in Dunlap

On Friday night, a motorcycle crashed and caught fire on Old Union Road in Dunlap.

At approximately 7:00pm CST, Dunlap firefighters arrived at the scene, where they found that the motorcycle had veered off the road and landed in a ditch.

Following the accident, the bike ignited. The rider had already left the area and could not be found.

Both the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office and the Dunlap Police Department responded, with the sheriff’s department overseeing the investigation.
