On Friday, January 2, a rollover accident occurred on I-24 Eastbound near Haletown. Haletown Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to mile marker 165 at approximately 8:20 AM following reports of an individual trapped inside a vehicle because of the crash.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel observed that the driver had exited the vehicle and was alert. Paramedics evaluated all parties involved in the incident, and the department reported that no serious injuries were sustained.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
