City of South Pittsburg Donates Money for Football Team Championship Rings
Last week the South Pittsburg Board of Mayor & Commissioners approved a $7,500 donation to help the High School Pirates football team buy state championship rings.
Head Coach Wes Stone requested the funds for rings celebrating their 2025 TSSAA Class 1A BlueCross Bowl victory.
City Administrator Michael Hudson said similar donations were made by previous administrations, so the board agreed to support the purchase again.
