Haletow Wildfire Controled on Monday
On Monday April 13,2026 at 5:16 p.m. Haletown Fire and Rescue reported for a wildfire behind a residence at the 700 block of Hwy 134.
Upon arrival the fire was ascending a hill. A fire break was immediately begun and two hose lines deployed. Jasper Fire was called for extra water supply along with Tennessee Forestry just in case. All companies combined to control a quarter each of land.
