Saturday, April 25, 2026 is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
This event provides a safe and anonymous way to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription medications and helps prevent misuse and accidental poisoning.
If you have medications you no longer take—whether they are outdated or belonged to a loved one—you can bring them to the Marion County Justice Center and place them in the secure medication disposal container located in the front office.
This drop box is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
