On Thursday, personnel from the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department, along with responders from Chattanooga reporters, recovered for a man who had been reported missing in Marion County since Tuesday.
The search was resumed at sunrise on Thursday, and crews subsequently located the individual’s body near a cliff. A specialized cliff rescue team from Chattanooga assisted in the recovery efforts in Marion County.
Currently, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department continues to be under investigation.
