Omar Veracruz
On Wednesday morning, a wanted subject, Omar Veracruz was arrested by the Dunlap Police following a traffic stop. Assisting with the arrest were agents with the 12th Judicial District Attorneys Office and the 12th Judicial Drug Task Force. Veracruz was safely taken into custody after eluding law enforcement on two prior arrest attempts.
Veracruz is charged with the following new offenses in addition to his previous charges of Felony Violation of Probation, and Domestic Assault:
Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl
Felony Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine
Simple Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance – Xanax
Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia
