Scottsboro police arrested Gavin Lee Alexander Wright, 27, and Kassie Marie King, 38, during a traffic stop near Highway 72 and Micah Way for driving without headlights on August 16. Both had active warrants; Wright’s were from multiple agencies, and King’s was from Blount County.
Officers found drug paraphernalia containing liquid methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Wright was charged with meth possession, King with drug paraphernalia possession. They were booked into Scottsboro City Jail and Wright was later transferred to Jackson County Jail.
