Labor Day morning Dunlap Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Hwy 127 on the side of Signal Mountain. Callers reported that a vehicle was on its top in the roadway with injured occupants.
Sequatchie County sheriff deputies were first to arrive followed by Puckett EMS and Dunlap Fire. Both occupants were out of the vehicle. The roadway was shut down until one victim could be transported with serious injuries.
The vehicle had been modified for off road riding, and the front doors had been removed.
Dunlap Fire and Lone Oak Fire provided traffic control until troopers with Tennessee Highway Patrol performed their investigation.
