Dunlap Police on Tuesday first reported to be a disabled vehicle on Rankin Avenue turned out to be a very different discovery. Officers stopped near the AutoZone after noticing what they believed was a broken-down car. When they approached, they found a deceased man inside. Investigators say the death is believed to be a suicide.
The individual was identified as Donovan L. Smith of South Carolina. His body was transported to the Tennessee Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville for autopsy.
