Marion County Schools currently has several jobs posted on their website for the upcoming school year, including three full-time bus driver positions for the Jasper and Whitwell area and two part-time positions across the county. Area gas prices have risen over past week

The average price of gasoline has risen in the Chattanooga area over the past week. Nails in Roadways Leads to Arrest of Marion County Man

Jesse Wade Hargis of South Pittsburg is charged with intentionally placing nails on several roads. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office sought help from the 12th Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force after numerous reports of nails found on roadways.
