Carolyn Vivian Raulston, age 89, of Dunlap, Tn passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2026.

Born Carolyn Vivian Keener April 15th, 1936, to Lester and Sally Mae Kenner in Pikeville, TN. She was of the Baptist faith. While living most of her childhood in Indiana and a graduate from Central High School in Evansville, Indiana, she then returned to Tennessee where she met and married her loving husband, Melvin Raulston. Melvin and Carolyn were married May 17th, 1959, they had 53 wonderful years of marriage until the passing of Melvin in July of 2012. The two had three Children; Carol, Penny and Melvin Jr. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, nana bear and nanny. She was one of the most loving, caring and thoughtful women. Carolyn loved all her family and friends and enjoyed spending her time with them. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her, and she will live on forever in our hearts and our memories.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life Melvin Raulston, sister Burma Young, beloved grandson Cody Raulston, and special son-in-law Lynn Burch.

She leaves behind two cherished daughters, Carol (Tommy) Sims, and Penny Burch; and one wonderful son, Melvin (Vanessa) Raulston Jr.; four grandchildren, Candyce (David) Ervin, Courtney Davis, Cory Davis and her not by blood but by love grandson Stephen Pursley; seven great grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Emilee, Zoe, Katelynn, Lilyan and Kameron; four great great grandchildren, Greyson, Braxley, Carter, and Olivia; and a treasured niece Thersea Hicks. A special thanks to her caretakers and friends Shirley and son Jay Skiles.
