Charles “Chuck” Nichols II, age 63, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Born on March 22, 1962, in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, Chuck was the beloved son of Charles and Dorothy Nichols.

He worked proudly as a crane operator, where his skill and dedication earned the respect of his coworkers and friends. Outside of work, Chuck found joy in the skies — he was passionate about flying model airplanes and Helicopters, he loved the freedom and adventure that came with it. He absolutely loved riding motorcycles and working on his cars. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family, who meant everything to him.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nichols, Sr., and his daughter, Hannah Nichols.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Ashley Nichols; cherished grandchildren, Addison and Zane; his devoted mother, Dorothy Nichols; siblings, Carol (Bobby) Littlejohn, Cathy (Steven) Marston, and John Nichols; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Chuck will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his sense of humor, and his warm heart. His memory will live on in all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
