Dorothy J. Rogers “Dot”, age 98 of Whitwell, TN passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Dot was a retiree of the Marion County School cafeteria.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Rogers of 62 years; parents, Gaither and Charlotte Webb; son, Johnny A. Rogers; sister, Glenna Raulston; brothers, David, Jim and Bill Webb.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Robert D. “Skip” and wife Donna Rogers; sister, Drenda (Jim) VanHooser; daughter in law, Angie Rogers; granddaughters, Lyndi (Jarred) Silver and Johna (Andy) Johnson both of Jasper, TN; grandsons, Scott (Mecca) Rogers of Hixson, TN, Chris (Jessica) Rogers of Whitwell, TN; 8 great grandchildren, Jaycee, Falon, Hadleigh, and Luke Rogers, Braelyn Lot, Noah Silver, Kailyn Johnson, McCartney Rogers.

Pallbearers will be, Chris Rogers, Scott Rogers, Andy Johnson, Jarred Silver, Marty Raulston, Bill Raulston, and Jerrett Tate.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Pat and Keisha Durham, Shelia Lankford, Kathy Brooks, and Lynn Tate and Marty Raulston for the loving care they gave. They would also like to thank Nurse Sandy with Hospice of Chattanooga for her outstanding care during this time.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CST. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
