Obituaries

Mary R. Brock Scott, age 92, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She was of the Church of God faith and attended West End Church of God and Pikeville Church of God. She loved to quilt and crochet, cook and garden.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Scott; parents, Martin and Lilly Brock; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Leon (Kay) Holt of Dayton, TN and David Scott of Soddy Daisy, TN; grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Kibble, Dwight Hamilton Scott and Derrick Welchel; great-grandchildren, Emmalinn Kibble and Jennifer Hays; great-great-granddaughter, Belle Harp; sisters, Sarah Roberts and Betty Sue Narramore, both of Dunlap, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Baney officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Friday, August 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. CDT.
