Nancy Gravitt Tankersley 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She was a resident of Powell's Crossroads, Tennessee.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Scott Minter; husband, Sonny Tankersley; parents, Herbert and Dot Gravitt.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Roy (Tina) Tankersley; grandchildren, Tanner and Conner Lutz of Terre Haute, Indiana; brother, Herb (Teresa) Gravitt of Jasper TN; niece, Jennifer Gravitt (Skip) Pond of Chattanooga TN; great nieces, Reese and Ellie Pond; chosen family, Joy and Wayne Richards, Missy and Brad Layne, Dwight and Paula Richards of Powell's Crossroads TN.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Kim Rose, who provided care and companionship.

Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held December 1, 2023 at 12pm in the Chapel with Rev. Greg Steele officiating. Burial will be at Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be held Friday December 1, 2023 from 10am to 12pm.
