Obituaries

Richard Harris Mendes, age 62, of the Suck Creek Community passed away, Friday, August 4, 2023. He loved his dogs Tucker and Lucy. He also liked hiking, traveling, and was the best Dad in the world. He is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Anderson.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Nuala Aiken; children, Megan and husband, Trey Stadler of Marietta, GA, Kevin Mendes of Kennesaw, GA, Ashleigh Aiken of San Diego, CA, and Kevin Aiken of New York, New York; mother, Sue Steinberg of Woodstock, GA; father, Robert Mendes of Mashpea, MA; granddaughter, Addison Stadler; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
