Ricky Hill, 66, of Jasper, Tennessee, was called home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Born on June 3, 1959, in Jasper, Tennessee, he was the beloved son of John Lee Hill and Ollie Alder Hill.

Ricky built lasting friendships and a reputation for hard work before retiring. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple, steady rhythms of life. He loved riding his bicycle and spending time outdoors, where he felt most at peace.

Ricky had a special fondness for anything old or antique, especially chairs, metal, and the kinds of forgotten treasures others might overlook. He took pride in recycling old cars, turning what was worn into something useful again. Above all, Ricky cherished his family.

His greatest happiness came from the moments he shared with his granddaughter and the loved ones who surrounded him. Their time together was the heart of his world. Ricky will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his curiosity for the past, and the love he poured into the people who meant the most to him.

Ricky is preceded in death by his father, John Lee Hill; mother, Ollie Alder Hill; brothers, Johnny Hill, Clifford Hill, Leroy Hill; and sister, Violet Callaway.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Tim Hill; brothers, Benny Hill, Jerry Hill; sisters, Linda Reed, Barbara Kilgore; granddaughter, Emily Hill, several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation is on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor David Berry officiating.

Ricky will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee on Saturday, April 11, 2026, immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Allen Hill, Josh Hill, Steve Hill, Adam Gilbert and Mikey Kilgore.
