Obituary For Rosetta Gardener Rogers

Rosetta Rogers, 82, of Whitwell, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 10, 2026. Born on May 4, 1943, in San Angelo, Texas, she was the daughter of Robert Gardner and Lena Bannert Gardner. Her life was shaped by deep faith, quiet strength, and a love for the simple joys that made each day meaningful. Rosetta was married to James Rogers until his passing, and together they built a life grounded in devotion, family, and service. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she cared for others, especially her church family, who brought her great comfort and companionship throughout her life. She found joy in gardening and flowers, tending to each bloom with the same care she offered the people around her. Rosetta also delighted in games and bingo, where her warm spirit and gentle humor made her a favorite companion. In quieter moments, she enjoyed crocheting, creating pieces that carried her love in every stitch. For 15 years, Rosetta worked at Western Sizzlin, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. In her later years, she made her home at Lifecare Center of Red Bank. The staff and residents there became her second family, offering her comfort, friendship, and a sense of belonging that she cherished deeply. Rosetta’s life was a testament to faith, love, and gentle perseverance. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her generous heart, and the quiet grace with which she moved through the world.
