Officials with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department say a suspect has been identified and a crime solved related to a recent theft in Marion County.
According to the department, the arrest stems from advice and tips provided to their investigators that assisted in identifying the person wanted in connection with a recent theft that happened at a house construction site in the 2900 block of Battle Creek Road on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023.
The person of interest reportedly stole mostly lumber items valued at over $1,000.
Security camera footage was able to capture a white full-size early-to-mid-2000s model Ford truck with out of state tags.
