Car Hauler Catches Fire on Interstate 24
A car hauler (semi-truck) caught fire Wednesday afternoon and shut down a portion of Interstate 24 eastbound. The crash occurred around 2:30 PM, right past the foot of Monteagle Mountain, near the Martin Springs exit. The interstate was closed for a period of time while fire departments extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
