Chattanooga Lookouts Accused of Racial Slur on T-Shirt
Fans of the Chattanooga Lookouts can no longer buy a certain t-shirt on their website after Twitter users mocked its resemblance to a racial slur.
The shirt in question spelled the word “Nooga,” shorthand for “Chattanooga,” by replacing each letter “O” with the team’s logo, a pair of eyes.
Shirts with “Nooga” without the eyes remain available for purchase.
