Dunlap Police Arrest Two on Drug, Burglary and Theft Charges

On Thursday, 8/17/2023, Dunlap Police arrested Shawn and Kaitlyn Williams following an investigation into several recent break-ins and thefts in the City of Dunlap.

Dunlap Police, assisted by Sequatchie County Deputies and Bledsoe County Deputies, discovered the pair at a campsite on the Sequatchie/Bledsoe County line.

The pair were allegedly intoxicated on illegal narcotics and in possession of much of the stolen belongings.

Both Shawn and Kaitlyn Williams had active warrants for their arrest and now face new charges of burglary and theft of property in Sequatchie County and new fentanyl-related drug charges in Bledsoe County.
