The Town of Powells Crossroads has announced that the Old Chattanooga Highway will be closed on Monday between 7:45 AM and 3:00 PM.
The Marion County Highway Department will replace tile and repair the road located in front of 137 Old Chattanooga Highway.
The Town of Powells Crossroads asks you to make accommodations to avoid this area during the work.
The Marion County Highway Department will be paving Hargis Cove Road and some in Ladds Cove.
Paving will begin work near the end of September on Shellmound Rd, Fiery Gizzard, and Browns Trace. They are hoping to have all three roads completed by the end of October, weather permitting.
