One Person Injured in Whiteside Fire on Saturday Night

At 11:13 Saturday night, the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the 4200 block of Highway 134 in Whiteside, Tennessee.

Jasper Fire was called in for mutual aid, and as firefighters arrived on the scene, they found two RV-style trailers and a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

The only occupant was injured nearby, and Puckett EMS arrived to care for the patient.

Haletown firefighters battled the blaze over four hours, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. No firefighters were injured battling the blaze.
