Scottsboro Man Charged with the Murder of His Wife

Alvin Dean Cornelison, a 75-year-old man from Scottsboro, Alabama, has been charged with the murder of his wife after a Thursday incident at the couple’s home.

Scottsboro Police say Cornelison confessed to the officers that he had taken the life of his wife, Mary. Her body was found inside their home.

Cornelison is currently detained at the Jackson County Jail. No bond has been set.
