All Marion County High School Football Teams are 4-0; Plus Other Scores

The South Pittsburg Pirates improved to 4-0 behind not only a stellar defense but the scoring of Jamarion Farrior. The senior scored 3 times in the 29-7 win over the previously unbeaten Sequatchie County Indians (3-1).

South Pittsburg will host Lookout Valley on Friday, and you can hear the game on The River 104.9. The Indians travel to Marion County. Hear the Sequatchie County broadcast on Country Roads 93.3.

The Marion County Warriors had to fight hard to stay undefeated, but they pulled out the difficult region win over Fayetteville 21-14 at home on Friday.

The Tigers held a 6-0 lead at halftime, but Marion County battled back in the second half with a touchdown and extra point to take the lead 7-6 after three quarters. The Warriors (4-0) would put 14 on the board in the fourth to take down Fayetteville (0-4).

On Homecoming night 2023, the Whitwell Tigers rolled to 4-0 on the season with a 56-6 region win over the Lookout Valley Yellowjackets.

The Tigers scored their first touchdown on a Garrett Miller touchdown reception and never looked back as they took a commanding 37-0 halftime lead before winning by 50 points in front of the homecoming crowd.

The win gives each Marion County high school a 4-0 record in the 2023 campaign.
