Voice of the Pirates Passes Away on Friday
Robert E. “Bob” Sherrill, 89, of South Pittsburg, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023.
Arrangements will be announced by Rogers Funeral Home.
Mr. Sherrill was known as the “Voice of the South Pittsburg Pirates” for 60 years. He served those years as the public address announcer for many outstanding games and state championship teams.
