New Hope’s Volunteer Fire Department Will No Longer Respond to Lift Assist Calls
On Monday night, the City of New Hope’s board of mayor and alderman voted that New Hope’s Volunteer Fire Department will no longer be responding to EMS calls for lift assistance.
These calls are for anyone who needs to be lifted off the ground after a fall or injury. The decision will totally leave the responsibility on ambulance personnel responding to calls in New Hope.
