It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Arts in the Burg, a SPARQ organization, is so excited to announce the first-ever “Deck the Town” Holiday Decorating Contest in South Pittsburg!
This year, we invite all homes and businesses within the 37380 zip code to participate in the inaugural Christmas decorating contest. It’s time to get your creative juices flowing and let your holiday spirit shine! From sparkling lights and colorful ornaments to wreaths and garlands, we’re looking for the most dazzling and eye-catching displays that will make our town sparkle with holiday cheer.
This contest will feature “Best Decorated Home” and “Best Decorated Business.” The winner will be chosen by you, the people of South Pittsburg! So, be sure to take a tour around town and check out all the amazing decorations, then vote for your favorite! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to show off your creativity and spread holiday happiness throughout South Pittsburg. Let’s make this first-ever “Deck the Town” contest a huge success!

Rules:
The deadline to enter your home or business is December 2. Voting polls will open on December 16 and will end at 11:59 p.m. CST on December 25. All outdoor decorations should be completed by December 15 for photos to be taken for voting purposes. Judging will take place on December 27, and the winner will be announced on December 29.
Winners of the Best Decorated Home will receive a gift basket that includes items from local businesses as well as a 1st Place yard sign.
Winners of the Best Decorated Business will receive a yard or window sign to display.
Each home or business participating will be included on an interactive map of the city with a pinned location of either your home or business. All names will remain anonymous. This will allow people to tour the city and select their favorite home and business. The contest will take place on Facebook by voting or submitting a picture of their favorite home and business.
