Jasper Businessman Arrested for Sex Crimes

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, the Jasper Police Department arrested a local business owner.

Robert James Doherty, an owner of the Redpoint Inn in Jasper, TN, was charged with five counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and booked in at the Marion County Jail.

Doherty made his bond, and he was released from jail. He will appear in court on the alleged crimes at a future date.
