Haletown, Jasper and Kimball Departments Respond to Early Morning Fire

Just before 2:30 Wednesday morning, Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a chimney fire that turned into a structure fire at the 7000 block of Highway 41.
Haletown began an aggressive interior attack on the fire. The Jasper and Kimball Fire Departments were called out for mutual aid. The fire was quickly contained to the attic space and extinguished, saving the rest of the structure. There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
