Turner Construction Company, along with partners Jesse Stutts, Inc. and Jake Marshall Service, Inc., are hosting an informational open house for local small and minority-owned trade businesses on Feb. 29. Turner and its partners are currently working on facility restoration and modernization projects supporting the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) near Tullahoma, Tenn.
The event will be held at the Manchester Coffee County Conference Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to all minority, women, disabled, veteran, and LGBTQ-owned businesses. Contractors can attend to learn more about the ongoing AEDC projects or future projects with Turner. No pre-registration is required; businesses can stop by anytime during the event.
AEDC is an Air Force Material Command complex with the mission to conduct developmental testing and evaluation in support of the National Defense Strategy through ground tests, flight tests, and modeling and simulation.
Turner is a general contractor and construction management firm active in the region since 1975. It serves aerospace, industrial, government, education, and commercial clients. The company aims to secure at least 25 percent of subcontract work through minority-owned businesses on its work with AEDC.
