The 2024 Severe Weather Awareness Week for Tennessee runs through Saturday, March 2. Each day has a theme to educate the public on different facets of hazardous weather.
- Monday – Flooding and flash flooding
- Tuesday – Lightning
- Wednesday – Tornado safety
- Statewide Tornado Drill, including a NOAA Weather Radio test, will be conducted
at 9:30 a.m. CST/10:30 a.m. EST - Thursday – Severe thunderstorms
- Friday – How to receive weather warnings
- Saturday – Hazardous weather affecting underserved and vulnerable communities
