Vehicle Fire Closed Interstate 24 on Friday
On Friday, at 2:19 PM Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to Interstate 24 at mile marker 160 for a vehicle fire.
Haletown firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The interstate was shut down temporarily while crews battled the fire.
There were no injuries to firefighters or the occupants of the vehicle. The pickup truck was a complete loss.
