Marion County Sheriff’s Department Helps to Retrieve Sinking Boat
On Monday, June 17 the Marion County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team and Boat Team responded to the Tennessee River near Hales Bar Marina to help with a half sunken boat.
The Dive Team and Boat Team successfully utilized their training by working together and using the inflatable air bags to lift the boat and remove it from the river. No injuries were reported.
