On Sunday afternoon the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to I-24 eastbound at mile-marker 162 for a single vehicle accident with entrapment.
Three occupants were extricated from the vehicle: One adult, one toddler, and a baby. All three were transported via ambulance by Puckett EMS to the hospital.
Marion County Sheriff Department deputies also assisted at the scene.
The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department would also like to thank the community for helping them become a certified rescue squad.
