The University of Tennessee has signed a corporate partnership with Pilot fueling stations for Neyland Stadium rights that will not change the stadium’s name. They’ll call it Neyland Stadium, preserved by Pilot.
The deal, agreed to for at least 20 years, will feature Pilot logos on the field as the gas chain will sponsor the stadium’s ongoing renovation project.
Last year, the university announced a naming deal for its basketball facility, which is now called Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.
Neyland Stadium has been the name of UT’s stadium since 1962.
