The VA hospital in Murfreesboro has a large need for the following items for our VETERANS:
Bottled water, men’s white T-shirts sizes M through XXL, men’s boxer shorts sizes M through XL, men’s white crew socks.
Additionally, due to the influx of female veterans, these items are
also needed: ladies’ underwear sizes M through XL, ladies’ white socks and bras (Various sizes).
Harvey-Merriman American Legion Post #190 and Sequatchie County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5772 are sponsoring a community-wide drive to get these items for our veterans. The drive will run through the end of October, and items may be dropped off at Dunlap City Hall Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
