A single vehicle accident with entrapment on Griffith Highway required the help of multiple agencies early Sunday morning.
The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to assist at approximately 4:08 AM CDT. In addition to Haletown VFD and five firemen, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Puckett EMS were on hand.
Crews worked to successfully extricate the patient from the vehicle and load them on the ambulance for medical assistance and transport to a local hospital.
There’s no word on the cause of the accident or the extent of the driver’s injuries at this time.
