Accident Shuts Off the Power in Portions of Grundy County on Saturday
Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative and Grundy County emergency personnel responded to a vehicle accident near Coalmont School on Saturday evening.
A main three-phase pole was hit, resulting in an outage for the Coalmont area. Due to the damage, it took SVEC several hours to restore power. Around 1,000 customers were without power.
No report has been released on any injuries in the crash.
