Chattanooga business owner, Richard “Rick” Davis was arrested for a second time in less than a year.
The police report says 73-year-old Davis was arrested at his jewelry store on Brainerd Road Tuesday evening.
According to reports, Davis is accused of passing worthless checks at his business around January 14, 2025.
Davis was booked at the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center on two counts of passing worthless checks.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 17, 2025.
Davis is also charged with seven counts of theft in a separate case, following a grand jury indictment in October 2024.
His trial over the theft indictment is set to begin on February 6, 2025.
