On Thursday afternoon, February 13, 2025, at approximately 5:45 PM, the Haletown Fire and Rescue and Jasper Fire and Rescue responded to a head-on collision on Hwy 41 near the convenience center. Upon their arrival, they found the owner of one vehicle shaken but stable while the owner of the other vehicle was entrapped. Immediate care and stabilization were initiated. After extraction, both individuals were transported to a local hospital.
Also responding to the scene were Jasper Police and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
