Marion County Sheriff Bo Burnett has announced that his department was called about a body being found at around 3:00 pm on Sunday in the area of Big Rock Road at Prentice Cooper State Forest. The location was temporarily closed to the public on Monday.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation identified the body as 66-year-old Danny Durham. His body was found under a pile of scrap metal in the backyard of a home on Big Rock Road. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how Durham died.
