The owner of the Whitwell Dairy Bar was arrested for a sex crime he committed in Alaska, according to Sequatchie County Sheriff Bill Phillips.
The sheriff says Darold Love was arrested on March 25 on an outstanding warrant.
Sheriff Phillips says Love told investigators he moved here because he bought the Whitwell Dairy Bar.
Alaska court records show the crime was committed in 2021.
Court records show Love is charged with sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree and sexual assault in the first degree.
Sheriff Phillips says they assisted with a couple of interviews and making the arrest.
